Dani had her second swim meet on September 27th at Crawfish Aquatics in Baton Rouge.
She swam freestyle and breaststroke.
This time I brought my action camera and I was ready to capture some serious swimming!!!
Dani was in lane 8, so you can see she got the fastest time in her heat...also increasing her freestyle time by two seconds from the last meet!! Way to go Dani!!!
She even did her flip turn for the first time in a meet and it was beautiful!
We found a cozy spot to sit while waiting for her next event and the boys were silly while eating their snacks!
Next event was breaststroke.....
Dani was in Lane 2 for this one.
She wasn't so quick on her time, but she swam hard and we were proud of her!
Way to go Dani!! She is loving swim team this year and we love going to support her!! She has met some great friends through the swim team. They love to sit around, goof off and eat, eat and eat more at the meets together!!
We all sported our team colors for this meet! I even got a team shirt made!
We are so proud of Dani for staying dedicated and working hard to improve her swim techniques....I think she is going to be really good at swimming if she decides to stick with it!! Everyone always comments on how beautiful her strokes are and how perfectly she glides through the water!!
