One Lucky Momma

What is my point to this post you may ask?? Can we please all just take a moment and realize how lucky I am to have these handsome little men in my life?? And to think I am getting one more in a couple of weeks!!  I am so looking forward to meeting sweet Judd and to have him welcomed into the family as a son, brother, playmate, and probably sometimes annoyance to his brothers. I can't imagine having more love to give, but I know God will provide that somewhere, somehow in my heart!!

This sweet, handsome man is mischievous, adorable, smart and always getting into some sort of mess, but it's tough to get mad at a face like this...right??!! He is a continuous talker and questions EVERYTHING you say and do which can quickly get on your nerves. However, I find myself laughing when I am alone in my car thinking if Brooks was here he would be asking a million questions on this drive...and then quickly become thankful for my silence...kidding, but not really :)  He is a full out country boy after his daddy's heart!! He would live at the camp, ride the tractor every day if he could!! He is growing up before my eyes into such a big boy and I can't wait to see how he loves on his new baby brother!!

And then we have Cade who is such a light in every room when he walks in. He has turned into our little social butterfly, everywhere he goes he will talk to almost anyone. He has the sweetest heart I have ever seen...he loves to come and randomly kiss my hand and tell me how much he loves me!! I mean seriously...melt my heart!! His smile is infectious to everyone that sees it! This child is the most intelligent 4 year old I know....he is reading small sentences, adding and subtracting, he comes home daily with new information he learned at school and the teacher says he is her "go to" for questions in the classroom. If you tell him something once, you can guarantee he will remember it!! He asks questions about God that are sometimes tough to answer, but I am thankful he asks and he loves to talk about how much he loves Jesus and the cross!! I am excited to see him as a big brother, he is going to LOVE his baby brother!!

Despite their different personalities, they get along so well, most days!! They are best buddies and superhero partners. At the end of the day, they won't go to sleep unless the other is in the room too and they always take care of the other one. I am thankful they are so close and I hope they always stay that way and soon welcome their baby brother into that bond that they have!!

Soon to be mom of three little boys...I can't wait!!

Mardi Gras Parade

 Mardi Gras season has begun!!

The Zachary school system has a great little parade they set up for ages Pre-K-2nd. The Kindergarteners create floats with wagons and then they march from their school through the Pre-K and 1st and 2nd grade schools throwing beads, candy, and other fun throws!

I went to hang out with Cade not realizing what a huge deal this was!!

You can see that adults, kids, students and school workers line the streets for about a mile long waiting for the cute little parade!! I guess next year Cade will be riding in the parade, throwing to Brooks!!
It was a fun experience and it was certainly my kind of parade at 36 weeks pregnant!
Cade had a blast and caught a lot of candy and beads!!

Until next year!

Valentine's Day!

I didn't get a lot of VDay party pics this year, because Cade's class didn't have an actual party, they just decorated their bags and handed out their valentines.
You can see Brooks did have a party, but it lasted so long I missed the party because I had to pick Cade up from school!

This year Valentine treats were not as fancy as my usual pinterest project. I read Cade's note wrong that was sent home and I didn't realize until the MORNING of his party that he had to have candy with cards!!! Luckily, we had Brooks already handy and his party was one day later so we scrambled and put together twenty Valentines in 15 minutes!!! Record timing I would say!

Brooks got upset that we were using his Valentines but have no fear mom bought more that day and we got his done for his class too! They didn't hand out candy this year, just cards, so we bought Spiderman cards with tatoos and he handed them out to his friends!!

Then we have Valentines Day morning!!

Everyone got some special treats when they woke up. You can see they are thrilled with their finds...excuse Dani's faces haha, she isn't a morning person!

We hope you and your family have a Happy Valentines Day!!
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

What a great reminder on this day!!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Last night Josh and Dani attended their last Daddy/daughter dance at NMS (Dani's school).

They started off their date with dinner at Cactus Cafe and then headed over to the dance.
They said they concluded their dance with doing the cupid shuffle on the dance floor....I would have paid money to see that one!!

They looked fabulous and had a great time, I would say that was a successful daddy/daughter date night!!

Funny Picture Friday

Camp days at the 119 property usually produce some pretty good pictures!! There is just something about being in the outdoors!!

You can see Cade is helping Dad dig some big holes to plan some new trees on the property.

Then Cade is hanging out in the big hole while the work continues. (He is holding a diet coke, but don't worry, he HATES carbonation so he isn't actually drinking it!)

And then below.....I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING when I saw this!!!

When you have to poop in the outdoors, a hole gets dug and well when you gotta go, you gotta go!!

Stay tuned for more at the 119!

Random Pics

Just some random pictures that I wanted to share!!

Cold mornings we wait in the car for the bus!
Twinkies!

They are always handsome little men, from cool guy to cowboy!!

They love to see how high they can build their towers!
They love painting and drawing on their new art easel
And some days they just are so worn out, once they snuggle up with mommy, it is lights out for them and snuggle time for me! I love that they are such boys, but at the end of the day, they LOVE their mommy!!
Most mornings as we wait for the bus, they take advantage of play time too!

Many nights while I make dinner they play outside together. I love that they are best buddies!!

They love their weekends at the Property 119!! Getting stuck in the mud is always fun!

Dani and I always enjoy our girls nights together!! This night we were watching Hairspray at the high school, it was a great show put on by local high school students!
Cade is quite the hard worker these days!!
Love my Dani girl!
We love living this crazy, busy life together and will soon be adding one more addition to the family! I love being able to capture these moments together and post on here to preserve our greatest moments and memories!!

Stay tuned for more Hebert Updates!!

Mardi Gras Parade

Brooks' daycare had a Mardi Gras parade for all of the parents today!! Brooks was actually elected the King of the parade by his classmates!
They made adorable boxes to carry their throws, brought their stuffed animals along for the ride and then they marched around to music and threw their loot to the parents!!
It was such a cute idea and you could see how excited all of the kids were!!

We got some great throws from our little Mardi Gras king!!

Funny story though, they told him to dress in something fancy since he was the king, but he could dress however he wanted. That is a dangerous demand for this little guy, he is quite particular in his dress!!

So I present to you the chosen king of the Mardi Gras parade....CAMO MAN!!
