Ella's Goodbye Party

One of Dani's good friends is moving to Baton Rouge to go to a new school...these crazy girls threw her a going away party!!

We will miss Ella, but luckily she is just a short drive away so I feel sure their friendship will remain strong!

Taylor Swift Concert

For Christmas last year, Dani got 4 Taylor Swift tickets for her concert in Baton Rouge on May 22 in Tiger Stadium. Well that day finally arrived!! Of course, one of the tickets was for me and then she got to invite two of her friends.

They prepared by designing and making t-shirts for the concert....

I took them to eat Chinese before at Pei Wei....

To say they were excited is an understatement!! We jammed to Taylor the whole way there....

We had great seats on the floor.....

Taylor certainly put on a great show!! She handed out these light up bracelets that were synced with the beats of her music so it was pretty cool to see the whole stadium light up!

We had a great time at the concert Shakin it off with Taylor!! Such a fun night!

8th Grade Awards

Dani got awards for her good grades for her final year in middle school!! We are so proud of all the hard work she put in to accomplish her good grades! Her first official grade on her high school transcript is an A in math!! Way to go Dani (thanks to Daddy :) )

Ready or not, high school here she comes!!

New House!

WE BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE!!!

That's right, our neighbor told us about a house they found that was perfect for what we had been looking for to move our growing family of 6 into over the last 9 months. We have been very patient in our search for a home and we were confident that God would bless our patience. Little did we know how perfect our new home would be!!!

We went to go look at the house late one Sunday evening, the second day it was on the market. We knew it would be selling quickly and so we knew we needed to act quickly. We went back the next day with our real estate agent and we decided to make an offer, and it was accepted!!

It is 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3.8 acres with a huge garden, orchard, outdoor shop, and many more amazing features!

The current homeowners went out of town and asked us if we would like to pick the fruit and vegetables from the garden while they were gone. We jumped at the opportunity.....

I have never been much of a gardener, but I guess I will be learning.....luckily gardening runs in my blood :)

Isn't it beautiful??!! We picked so many yummy fruits and veggies!! We are so excited about our new home and all it has to offer!

There is even the cutest little chicken coop ever on the property!!

As soon as we put in an offer on our new house, we were ready to put our house up for sale!! We had been preparing for this day for a while now so we didn't have much to do to get it ready to be put on the market. One day after we put in our offer on the new house, it was up on the for sale websites and five days later it was sold!! God is good!  

We are VERY excited about this new chapter in our lives...stay tuned for moving day on June 26th! We are sad to leave our first home that we made so many memories in, but we are also very excited to move into our new home and continue to make new memories with our perfect little family!
