GA Camp

Dani had a great week at GA Camp at the Judson Baptist Retreat Center!!!

Ms. Madison was one of her leaders for the week....

She helped us over the summer some days when Dani didn't have camps to keep Dani occupied...so they were buddies before camp started. Dani was super excited to get to spend the week with Ms. Madison!

Dani's camp counselor from the week....

This is Dani's silly picture from the week.....Crazy girl!!

The theme of the week was: "Mission Possible" and at the Judson "Spy School".

The Bible verse was Colossians 3:2-3 "Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on Earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God."

The "Ticker" for the week was "Take off the old, putting on the new, we look to our commander in everything we do".

Dani was in the Ruth cabin for her 2nd year in a row. The adjective that she was awarded for the week was "spunky".

When I asked Dani what her favorite part of the week was she said:

1. Playing in the creek

2. Horseback Riding

3. Octoball

She loves going to GA camp every year and she said she is already ready to go back next year! I am pretty sure she would have stayed the rest of the summer.

Side Note: More pics to come, but the girl I am waiting on said she won't be able to get them to me for a couple of weeks.....

LSU Fun Day!!

Saturday morning we took a little family field trip to LSU.

We got to see Mike the Tiger up close and personal!! He was running around the cage, playing in the water, playing with his ball and interacting with the kids. They LOVED it!!

This was Brooks first time to visit Mike.....

We had a great time visiting Mike!!

We also let the kids roll down the Indian Mounds....

Dani had fun rolling down the hill...

Brooks tumbled more so than rolled...but he still had fun....

And Cade just ran and then fell down.....

We had a lot of fun at LSU showing the kids around where Mommy and Daddy went to college. Even though they didn't have much appreciation for the history, we had a great time as a family!!
