Lake Charles

In June we took a little weekend trip to Lake Charles to visit some family and friends.

Our first stop was in Sulphur, LA to see Great Uncle Tabby and Great Aunt Retha. We had some yummy cookies and explored in their garden. The boys also enjoyed playing with all of their toys and in their backyard.

Our second stop was to visit Tommy and Heather and their boys Gage & Mason. Josh and Grandpere didn't make this part of the trip with us because they had a guided fishing trip in Hackberry. So it was just me, the boys, and Dani.

We went to a playground and met a friend of Gage's from daycare. Luckily his daycare teacher was there and she brought some reinforcements to keep up with all of the kids!! It was hot and they were running everywhere....

Dani was scared to go down the fire pole, so she had to get some extra help. She claims it was taller than it looked :)

This got pretty interesting....three is definitely the max for fun in the tub. We will have to graduate to a bigger tub when Mason is old enough to get in!!

For those of you wondering, Josh and Grandpere had a successful fishing trip, they limited out on redfish and trout!! Josh said it was definitely the best guided fishing trip he has ever been on!!
