Dani had her first spring swim meet with Tiger Aquatics in Lake Charles last weekend.
We only had a minor set back of her FORGETTING her SWIM SUIT!!!!!
Who forgets their swim suit for their swim meet???!! Oh that's right, my absent minded, sweet, little girl!! Worst part is I went over everything that she "had" packed in her bag with a verbal checklist the night before.
Luckily another swimmer had an extra swimsuit in her bag, even though it wasn't the black racing swim suit required for the meet, they let her swim with fire on her suit for this one meet. You better believe next time she will have a physical check of her bag as well as an extra swim suit packed!!!
Now, on to the meet....
This was the first long distance meet Dani had ever swam in. She was slotted to swim the 50 breast, 50 fly, 100 breast and 100 fly
She always maintains her composure well, never seems to get nervous and really swims hard. We are working on speed and longevity, but for her first long distance meet, she really did great!!

Like I said she always looks at ease whenever she is about to get on the block! Smiling away at her teammates!
She was VERY tired after her swimming was done...in her words "I almost died!!!".....while she was far from dying she was certainly worn out. We were proud of her effort and hard work. You can see all of the results from the meet below!!
