Polar Express

This year Zachary held a fundraiser called the Polar Express where you could bring the kids out to meet Santa!!

While we aren't big on celebrating with Santa, it was a great cause and a fun activity for a Saturday morning.

We started things off with hot chocolate and donuts with some of our friends!

Then the boys wrote their letters to Santa!!

Cade's letter to Santa said that he wanted a Dinowad, another bumble bee toy and jingles (?? whatever that is). He said he was a great little boy all year!!

Brooks letter said that he wanted a golf toy, boots, a new umbrella, new colors and new lights. He said he was going to leave him cookies and pizza to eat!!

After the letters were written, they had to be mailed to the North Pole!

Next up was making reindeer food using oats and glitter, such a cute idea!!

And last, but not least, they got to see Santa and take pictures on the big train!!
Nothing gets by my boys though, they quickly asked why he didn't look like all of the other Santas??!

The boys had a great time at the "Polar Express"!! It was a fun morning visiting Santa and getting the boys excited for Christmas. We made sure though to not lose sight of what the true meaning of Christmas is and that is the birth and gift of Jesus Christ!!
