Halloween Fun

We aren't huge on Halloween at our house just because of the meaning behind it, but in this day and age it is hard to avoid between school and life. So we try to just explain to the kids what it means and then have a fun time doing family friendly activities.

We always make special treats for daycare and school parties. This year we made cute little pumpkins out of cuties and celery. Healthy and cute!!
 Brooks was a great helper!!

The boys dressed up on Halloween day for their schools. Brooks was a cowboy and Cade had to be a community helper, so he dressed up like a vet like Grandpere!! We had a little argument about shoes, apparently vets don't wear crocs or tennis shoes, they wear nice brown shoes!!!
A cute little picture of Brooks' class in their costumes!
Dani was with her mom on Halloween, but dressed up like a wolf and little red riding hood! I think this may be her last year for dressing up...maybe??!!
That evening we went to a church carnival at our church, Zachary First Baptist and the boys dressed up like Ironman and a LSU football player

They played fun games, rode a hayride, and ate popcorn and cotton candy!

The thing they loved the most though, was the inflatable slide. I would say they spend 80% of their time on this thing!!

The boys love dressing up so much that the day after Halloween I always go into the Halloween stores and get costumes on really good sales to stock up their dress up drawer. This year I got a flight pilot costume, Thor and a Police officer!!

Happy Halloween everyone!! I hope it was safe and fun for all involved!
