Cade's FIRST Field Trip

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 Cade had his first field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Blackwater Methodist in Central, LA.

 

I took off work because I could not miss this fun day and boy we had so much fun!!!

 

He is ready to go with his pumpkin shirt on!!!

 

First we went to the pumpkin decorating station and he got to pick out his pumpkin, get it weighed and measured and then we decorated it with stickers!!

 

His pumpkin was a whoping 4 oz!!! I tried to convince him to get a bigger pumpkin but he just really wanted the smallest one, so that's what he got!!

 

Time to decorate....

 

And here is the finished product!! I told him to make a pumpkin face and this is what he did haha!! PERFECT....

Then we had story time, which was probably his least favorite part but he was good through the whole story!!

 

Then it was off to the pumpkin patch to take some silly pictures...

Then we took a little hay ride through the forest and saw lots of funny animals and decorations....

 

 

Then we went inside for some games and snack time....

 

Cade and his friend Miles goofed off together for a while

 

I am pretty sure this was his favorite part...he loved jumping in the blow ups!! 

 

And to finish off the day he did a little fishing. He tried to outsmart me to get another turn and say "Mom we need to get Brooks something"....didn't work :) Sweet little man!!

We had a great time on the first field trip and I cannot wait for the next one....SO MUCH FUN!!!!
