Family time in FL

We had a great visit at my parent's house in FL. My parents, Russ, Gramme, Pa, Iris, Justin, Briggs, and our family (minus Dani) were all there. Luckily my parents have some "snow birds" (definition: elderly couples/individuals who migrate to FL for the winter and north for the summer) that live next door to them so we were able to use their house for some extra room.

We had a great time!! We stayed busy and as always, enjoyed each other's company. Our time together as a family is always treasured as our visits are not as often as we would hope, considering the distance we share between everyone. Luckily we have about 4 cameras out at once and one great photographer in the family so we always have our visits well documented....860 pictures, so I tried to narrow it down!!! Enjoy.....

All of the kids were unsure of Bullet at first, but by the end of the trip poor Bullet had been jumped on, eyes poked, ears & tail pulled!! He is such a great dog & he played well with all of the kids!! Cade loved to feed him his food!!

The guys did some shooting at the range and went fishing in some kayaks....

And the girls tested out the minivan rental, (I knicknamed her Daisy)!! Kid tested, mother approved.....

Justin even got a 20+ mile bike ride in...(I like Briggs here, he is NOT sure about all that!!)

All of the boys loved playing in our old rocking chair....

We enjoyed the beautiful Florida scenery....

We had fun in the sun & water (when the weather permitted).....

 Brooks had his first swim lesson given by his professional swim coach, Poppa!! He did great!! The child has zero fear of the water and will just jump straight in, hold his breath and even stayed under water for 3 seconds while reaching for the stairs!! I see hard core swim lessons in his near future!!

We celebrated the babies first birthdays on Briggs actual first birthday with a little cupcake party....

Brooks decided it would be fun to play peek a boo....which of course got his icing EVERYWHERE!!!

And I would say they liked their cupcakes!!!

We celebrated Uncle Russ' graduation by partying at the neighborhood pool house!!!!

We had some yummy food and a super cute cake!!

Cake twice in one day...YUMMY!!!! This cake showed up later that week as a poopy surprise!!! Green and everything :)

We had a great week with the family!!! Thanks to mom and dad for everything they did and their wonderful hospitality. Please continue to pray for them to get moved closer to us someday very soon. Until then we will treasure every moment we have together. Love you all!!!!
