Parker did have to take a little trip the the NICU unit for some issues he was having with his bilirubin levels elevating quickly due to having a different blood type than Iris when he was born and also some dsats in his breathing when he would suck on his pacifier. He has been at the hospital for over a week now, but this pic below was taken last night. He is getting so close to coming home!! His levels have started declining again for the jaundice and he has not had any breathing issues for over 48 hours. We are so thankful for the awesome doctors being very cautious and making sure everything is ok before sending him home. This time has been extremely hard for Justin and Iris and I am amazed at their strength throughout this time. Props to my mom too....she has been there for OVER a month waiting for this precious little man to be born and she has been practically running the household there and taking care of Briggs full time.

Ok I mean seriously...how precious is he??!!!

 

Unfortunately Aunt Abby hasn't gotten to take a trip yet because I got sick last week and then Dani was exposed to the flu this past weekend so I have to wait at least another week to be around him for his health safety...BUT when I get there he better be ready for plenty of kisses....between me and his mommy those little cheeks are going to get some wear on them :)
