Hibachi Dinner

We took the kids along with the Gould family to each hibachi one night for the first time. They LOVED it!! They thought the fire was so funny and the cook added to the fun!!

 

Brooks could not stop uncontrollably laughing at everything. The cook sprayed him with fake ketchup and from that moment on he was laughing at everything. The food was great, the entertainment was wonderful and it was an experience we will definitely relive.

 

Great memories with great friends!

We recently got some kayaks for the camp to put into the river....the boys seem to enjoy them just fine in the carport!

I walked outside to put some trash out and check on the boys....and this is what I find!!! MY MOP submerged in the muddy water hole! I never got a reasonable explanation from him as to why...just this look like What??!!

Judd's First Play Date

Judd had his first playdate today with his friend Bo who is about 2 weeks older than him.

 

They got a little crazy on the blanket swinging their arms around, but for the most part it was uneventful as they slept and we swapped off holding babies!!

I am sure this will be the first of many play dates and a beautiful arranged friendship, thanks to their mommas!

Strawberry Patch

We decided to take a little field trip to the strawberry patch the week of Cade's Spring Break with our friends Robyn and her kids.

 

So we all loaded up and drove to Hammond, LA to Mrs. Heather's Strawberry Patch for a fun day of strawberry pickin'!

 

Let's just say the strawberry pickin' didn't last long with these boys because they quickly found the mud holes and knowing I had extra clothes in the car, I just let them have fun running through it in their rubber boots while Judd and I continued to fill out pints of strawberries! Who knew mud was more fun than strawberry picking??!! 

 

We had lots of fun playing, picking, and eating the strawberries and we came home with an abundance to share!! 

1 Month Old

Fun Facts at Month 1

-eats every 2-3 hours

-sleeps 4-5 hours at night before eating

-snuggle time from the whole family is frequent, especially mommy

-he is pretty alert for a newborn when he is awake

-he is starting to focus more

-he sleeps through ANY type of noise

-lights are his favorite entertainment, he loves to stare at them....it is a baby thing!

-mommy is and always will be his favorite person :)

-he loves bath time

-he wins the award for best baby I have ever had....so far!
