December 1st Cade got to sing in his first choir performance at First Baptist in Zachary for the annual Pre-school Christmas program!!
He had to wear seasonal appropriate attire. DD bought him this adorable outfit, however the only way I convinced him to wear the sweater was if he put a Batman shirt on under neath it!! I was hoping from far away you wouldn't be able to tell.....
Seriously though, how cute is he??!!
Cade was so excited to finally be performing all of the songs they had been practicing for months!! He told me how much he "loves performing for people"!!
He came out front and center!! Waving hysterically at all of us eagerly sitting and watching!!
He did a
great job and kept us all laughing until the end!! He kept waving at us
every time he got the chance, he sang well and did most of the motions
for the first song and slowly got more and more distracted as the
program went on.
I
let him take some miniture superheros with him but told him they had to
stay in his pockets, well of course he took them out mid-song and
started playing with them....I finally got his attention and he quickly
tucked them away in his pockets again.
He did pick his boogers and eat them on stage...GROSS!! But of course we were all laughing. And he only flashed his Batman shirt to the crowd once...I guess he had to lift up his sweater and check to make sure he still had it on!!
Funny memories of his first performance. I have a feeling we will have many more of these in the future!! Great job FBCZ preschool choir!!
