Gender Reveal Party

So like I said in my post yesterday, Heather and Tommy were so sweet and threw us a gender reveal party to find out what the sex of baby Hebert is!!

 

Heather had her sister create this adorable invitation to text out to family and friends.

 

 

 Earlier that morning we took a trip to First Glimpse to get an ultrasound of the baby. The gender was written down and sealed in an envelope. We then handed the envelope off to Tommy who wrapped up either a LSU jersey or LSU cheerleader uniform for us to open and reveal the sex of the baby.

 

Moments before the reveal....everyone was in suspense.....I was a nervous wreck!!!

 

Here we go......ITS A BOY!!!!!

 

Poor Dani, you can see the slight disappointment on her face, she really wanted a girl!

 

And the tears started flowing!!

 

Then Josh and I realized how upset Dani was, while I had tears of joy, she had tears of being upset!!

Josh and I are both thrilled to no end that it is another sweet baby boy!!!

All of our family and friends, in person and through facetime!! They were all thrilled to hear the news about another Hebert boy addition! 

We had to take a time out to conversate with the facetimers who are long distance and couldn't make it in for the reveal, i.e. my parents, sister and Josh's sister. 

And a picture with my sweet little men....especially the one that predicted this pregnancy all along!

 

Then we all sat back and relaxed and watched LSU beat New Mexico State 63-7. The kids enjoyed playing and the parents enjoyed socializing and eating some great food!! Tommy made jambalaya and everyone brought appetizers and desserts.

Big thanks to my bestie for putting all of this together and hosting it at her house......we will always remember this night and we are so thankful for your generosity and friendship!!

And last but not least, the picture with the proof that we are definitely having another BOY!!!!

 

 

Thank you so much to all of our family and friends for such a special, memorable night!!! It was a fun way to reveal the sex of baby Hebert #3 and we are so thankful we were able to share this special moment with everyone that we love!!!

17 Week Ultrasound

Today we went to First Glimpse in Baton Rouge, which is where we went the past two times to find out the sex of the last two babies.

 

This time, we went to find out but the ultrasound tech put the sex of the baby in an envelope and we handed it over to Tommy to wrap up a gift for us to open at our gender reveal party later tonight.  

 

It was nerve wracking with the envelope in hand but knowing we had to wait a few more hours for the reveal....stay tuned for the big news!!
